The Lunenburg VT veterans will host a Veterans Day observance at 10:00 a.m. on the Lunenburg Common for veterans and community members. This annual event is a time for all ages to gather together to remember, honor, and thank those men and women who have given a portion of their lives in military service to our country. During this observance, a locally made memorial wreath is placed in front of the Veterans Memorial, followed by a reflection given by a Lunenburg veteran, a benediction offered, Lunenburg students’ presentation, a firearms salute given, and taps played.
