Step inside one of Lancaster's historic treasures and discover everything the Lancaster Historical Society has to offer.
Join us for a Business After Hours & Community Open House on Wednesday, August 19, from 5:30–7:00 PM at the Lancaster Historical Society. Hosted in partnership with the Northern Gateway Regional Chamber of Commerce, this event is free and open to the public.
Enjoy light refreshments while taking self-guided tours of both floors of the historic Wilder-Holton House Museum, explore the historic barn, meet members of the Historical Society, and learn more about the organization's mission to preserve and share Lancaster's rich history.
This is also a wonderful opportunity to see the restoration work currently underway and learn about the ongoing efforts to preserve this important landmark for generations to come.
If you can't join us on August 19, the Lancaster Historical Society is also open during its Flea Market, held every other Sunday from 8:00 AM–3:00 PM, May 24 through October 11. Visitors are welcome to browse the flea market while touring the historic home and barn.
Whether you're a longtime resident, new to the area, or simply interested in local history, we hope you'll join us for an evening of history, preservation, and community.
