We would like to Congratulate our Business of the Year
Normandeau Trucking, Inc.

Barry Normandeau's companies include moving services, waste services, Normandeau Stone, McCormack & Whitco Memorials and MolecuLoc. On the Board of Directors for the chamber Barry is known as the "Ideas Guy". Our Chamber "Loyalty Cards" were Barry's brain child. He is the first guy to say "Yes I'll donate". He has donated his trucking services to move items for fundraisers to relocating the chamber into the Welcome Center and a habitual volunteer. Barry has a deep love and devotion for Lancaster and Groveton communities. Each and every day Barry works behind the scenes to promote our chamber areas in hopes of luring viable businesses to Coos County. We salute Barry and his team for their hard work and true dedication to the community. Normandeau Trucking, Inc. just received the Statewide award for the safest company under 50 employees. Congrats!

The Directors Award bestowed to Larissa Cassady.
Larissa is another individual that works very hard for the community with little recognition. She owns Frank's Barber Shop. Larissa was instrumental in running the Wolves Football Team Program. Allowing teens from nearby NH, VT and ME communities to participate on a football team, as local area high schools have no football program or fields. She also works with the VFW on the "Toys for Tots" toy drive. She is a member of the Ladies Auxiliary and was the first business person to buy a planter box in Lancaster's Municipal Parking Lot and maintain it. The Chamber recognizes Larissa Cassady as a person that makes a difference in our community.

Amber Brown recognized for her work with the chamber
Amber Brown came to the Chamber through the WEP program. Her achievements include expanding the Northern Gateway Regional Chamber's Facebook audience. She was also responsible for adding events to the Chamber's website.Amber's presence at the Chamber Office allowed the Great North Woods Welcome Center to be open during their off season. She assisted many tourist with questions about our area and educated them on our website and its ability to give up to date information on events, members, restaurants, and lodging. Amber helped with many aspects of the chamber, and has now moved on to other employment opportunities. We wish her the best and thank her for her fourteen months of service.
