At one time, each town in our region had its own chamber, but it quickly became obvious that every community shared the same goals, and so the Northern Gateway Regional Chamber of Commerce was born. Since then, we have striven to build a system of mutual support, through which we can learn from one another while nurturing the good neighbor policy, which is so central to our identity as New Englanders. Our chamber has grown to be an example of synergy at its best: Covering 10 towns in the Great North Woods, we work together for the betterment of all. With a diversity of businesses from world-renowned Grand Hotels to owner-operated Maple Sugar Farms, we focus upon the universal entrepreneurial spirit that not only binds all of us together, but also that typifies the strong spirit of New England.
We are continually developing improvements to our website, including new and expanded sections and photographs. Additionally, the Chamber will be offering numerous social, educational and professional development events throughout the year. The central idea of teamwork, through which the sky is quite literally the limit! Our Board of Director's meet the first Thursday of the month at the Welcome Center in Lancaster at 7:30 a.m.
